How it all started?

Every Saturday, Ang’s weekend starts not with rest from a long week of work or lounging on the couch in front of a television. Instead, she answers a much bigger call from above to help those who are less fortunate. From preparing home cooked meals in her own kitchen to carrying them by foot to the welcoming arms of the homeless. She spends weekends and holidays at local soup kitchens, not simply handing over food but an extra helping of her infectious smile and compassion. When driving in her a car, the sight of a homeless person or family causes Ang to take a slight detour in order to stop hunger in its tracks. She returns to her car in tears and questions of why she has been so blessed while so many others are in despair. The time has now come for her to share not only her blessings but her passion for life, for people and spreading love to humanity.

“OMG what an amazing time today feeding our homeless friends. I made baked chicken, Macaroni and Cheese and Peas, those platters were amazing.  In addition, I handed out toiletries, blankets, gloves and snack bags.  One guy asked me if the food was homemade. I said yes sir, his response…I knew it OMG it looks so good.”
